As a part of the project “Comprehensive Agribusiness Incubation Related Technical Services and Human & Institutional Capacity Development in Fiji, Samoa and Solomon Islands”—a collaborative initiative between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and AgHub Foundation, funded by the European Union, a six-day Technical Workshop on Agribusiness Incubation Programme Development was organized from 17th to 22nd September 2025, by AgHub, the Agri-Innovation Hub of Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), Telangana, India.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Transformation of Domestic Agrifood Systems (STODAS) Project, funded by the European Union, which seeks to advance the broader objective of strengthening domestic agrifood systems in Fiji, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands. The project emphasizes the development of key agricultural value chains to promote self-reliance in food security and foster rural economic growth across the Pacific.
The workshop aimed to strengthen agribusiness ecosystems in the Pacific Island nations by familiarizing delegates with global best practices in agribusiness incubation, entrepreneurship development, and innovation management.
